xmas pressies:):)

so after 2 weeks of being sick and not goin to the gym i finally made it back on Tuesday and then again Fri and Sat.. and now i'm SO SORE! that'll teach me for having so much time off!

on a happier note i now have a car:):) it's the cutest (i'll post a pic soon) and a QLD license!

i even have a medicare card (so i get most of my money back from doctors visits) aaand a flybuys card haha

Feeling very organised and like i actually live here now!! AND as of tomorrow i've been here two months!

time sure flies....

So we went to Parklife a couple of weekends ago which was awesome:) had to meet everyone there after i finished work and matty was running around trying to find me but FINALLY made it in :):) spent waay too much money and we ended up staying at Becs place and not getting ANY sleep so spent the whooole of sunday recovering! (and monday and Tuesday...)

last week Matty was really sick so had a quiet weekend, we went to a sushi train restaurant and afterwards saw a movie.. on sunday we were planning on going to Movie World but it was raining and Matty was still sick so we ate yummy food and watched dvds all day:P and in the afternoon we took a trip to DFO - the direct factory outlet- to check out the shops:)

By Monday i had caught Matt's bugs and spent the whole day lazing round in bed and on the couch and by Tuesday Kel and Akira had got it too... and Matt was finally better haha..bastard. :)

TUESDAY WAS MY BIRTHDAY!! yay:) except i was sick.. and managed to go to work, which was ok coz my boss took me out for lunch (even though i couldn't taste anything)

after work i hadto get the bus home which took 2 hours!!!

Matty got me a million scratchies for my bday and i won $70! woohoo! and a pandora bracelet which i LOVE:)

Then Kel made me fish and polenta and vege bake, then a choco cake with maltesers for dessert!! yummm:):)

unfortunately it also means i'm another year older now!!:( hehe...

So i haven't updated for awhile.. must have been busy! just working, which is ok.. kinda wish i had a car though because once Matty gets a job i'll be back on the bus ..ugh!!

He's off on his first temp job today:) very happy chappy..

last night went to an amazing seafood buffet at Palazzo Versace Hotel in the Gold Coast with Kel, Akira and the Frenchies... ridiculously beautiful food and by far the most extravagant hotel i've ever set foot in!

After much deliberation and several phone calls to mum, dad and matt, i have decided to stick with the job at the Bulimba salon.. pays not great but experience is needed! so for now i'll just have to stick it out. didn't make the decision any easier having the Proactive lady call and offer me a full time position with GREAT pay this morning. dammit.

Have been doing a fair bit of running at the gym...
GOAL= 6kg by xmas and 8km/hr on treadmill.
so off to zumba tonight to work on the zumba body!
